It's Darwin Day, woodchuck-chuckers!

Probably a good day to pull out this:

In the Beginning was Nothing: A Creation Story for Young Materialists -- by Joe Carter

Darwin put us on a par with bugs, freed us from God, and undercut the philosophical underpinnings of meaning, purpose, values, destiny, and hope, in other words, everything that makes us authentically human -- yeah, Darwin!!!

No he didn't he put forward a scientific theory about human evolution. Too bad some of us haven't evolved reading comprehension yet.

Correction Anony. Darwin proposed a theory. There was no 'science' involved. Darwin's theory ran contrary to the dominant Religious theory and therefore the term 'scientific' was attached to the theory but there still was no actual science involved. All the 'Evidence' cited as proof of evolution can equally be explained by a common Designer refining His designs. One of the hallmarks of true science is the ability to replicate the results. No Replication ~ No Science. Nice anti religion screed that sucks in the no-minds but there is no science involved.
