Justin Trudeau: Another Reason I'm Glad I'm Not A Liberal

Justin Trudeau is "uncomfortable" with the Conservatives calling honor killings barbaric. He would prefer they avoid perjoratives.

He's uncomfortable? Imagine how those on the receiving end of an honour killing feel. Imagine how those who live in perpetual fear of being on the receiving end of an honour killing feel.

When called up on it, he retreats by saying he got tangled in semantic weeds, retracts his comment, and offers up an "if anyone has interpreted my remarks" it's-really-all-your-fault non-apology. Oh, so it's all just a matter of semantics?  What semantic weeds, exactly?

Then he says what he was really trying to get at was the cynicism of the Conservatives.

Memo to Liberals: your endless, year-in, year-out ad hominems and strawmen are getting tiresome. And your baseless accusations of cynicism are themselves rooted in a rancid cynicism Conservatives wouldn't stoop to. How stupid do you think the electorate really are?

Oh.

And that's the way the impassioned Ball bounces.

This apology is similar to the one issued by that idiot Glen Murray in Ontario.

Dalton Mcguinty and his cohorts were quick to want to move along even though the apology was a thinly veiled attempt to attack those he had insulted. Finally after three more days a proper apology was forced from his bitter mouth.

In this one Trudeau can't help but take a shot at the Conservative gov't he so despises. He also suggests that his words are the final word.

The usual suspects eg. Kinsella accept this condescending apology (as was the case with Murray).Move on to the next faux rage.

I do not know if this ends now or not. Normally I'd expect people to force Trudeau to make a proper apology but he is largely dismissed as a clown and not taken very seriously so I think people will just move on.

I was killed by my family, therefore it was a good way to die!!! There you go Justin - I gladly forfeit my life for family honour. This is a version of "family love" that should be publically criticized and shown to be abhorrent. What's next, its not rape unless there are witnesses? Don't you love it when the indefensible is defended by those who claim to be feminists. Cheers.

Great recovery Justin, nice back hand down their throats on the women's issue.
Since Kenney wants to include those nice words about democracy, the Citizen's guide should include a sentence on how Conservatives in the 1920's and 30's aided and abetted the rise of fascism and nazism in Europe and Canada, which explains why the present PM is often in contempt of parliament: it's his natural state, corporate management is executive; parliament is collegial.

Yeah, that's it.

I knew Stephen Harper's father, and I can assure you Stephen was not raised as either a fascist or nazi. Your comment just reinforces Ball Bounces readers' suspicions about leftist delusion.
